extra Credit Blog ( Austin Anderson)

1) The theme of the movie was the rise of Christanity in the Western Civilization. The film centered around Constantine, and his arm as the spread Christanity around the land. The film also focused on early believes of God and Christanity.

2) One thing that stood out to me was the fact that Constantine wasn't a believer at first then God spoke to him and he drastically changed his ways. I thought it was fascinating that God formed a cross in the sky to communicate with Constantine.

3) This generated the idea to me that God can communicate with us through miraclous ways at any given time. This movie also brought up many questions like how Christanity came to the form it is today. It also was very informative about the Catholic origins.

4) This movie corrects to present day because Christanity is still practiced today, and is the center of life for Christans. This movie showed all that the religon went through in it's origins to push through to today.

5) This directly relates to our text because Constantine is an important section in chapter 6. Constantine, Constantinoble, The different levels of Catholic power, The different forms of Christianity are all major sections of the text book.
